What cookies we use

The calculator itself runs in your browser and does not require you to sign in or store any of the figures you enter. The cookies set on this site fall into three groups:

Essential — a small preference cookie may be used to remember your cookie choice so you are not asked on every visit.
Analytics (Google Analytics) — first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_[ID] that help us understand which pages are most useful. IP addresses are anonymised and we do not use cross-site tracking.
Advertising (Google AdSense) — where advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure adverts in line with their policies.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. In Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies. In Firefox: Settings, Privacy and Security, Cookies. In Safari: Settings, Privacy. Blocking cookies may affect analytics or advertising behaviour but will not stop the calculator working.

You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ad Settings, and out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
